New Power System, Did we get Nerfed?

From my testing of the pre release, I would say we got nerfed massively. The power consumption for shields, factories and weapons is ridiculous. The mass has been significantly increased on a lot of the decorative blocks too, making them unusable on small, light weight builds.
My server config will need a lot of adjustment just to make it playable.
