New Block Ideas! (3D Models included)

Hello! i'm Josh, and i recently started playing starmade, and quickly fell in love with with it. but, when using the wedges and corners, I have noticed a lack of versatility. so I developed two blocks I believe could have many uses, and be very useful. (I will provide some simple 3d examples to explain)

So, starting at the existing Blocks:

now, these blocks are decent for angled hulls and such, but they can only go so far. for example:

see how in between levels there is a distinct ridge? well, my new blocks have solved this problem, check it out.

the red block is like the corner type block, but instead of one face being a square(the bottom), all connectable sides are triangles(if that makes any sense. if it doesn't, you'll see soon enough). and the second block is a normal cube,with the red block subtracted from the corner. so, here is the application of said blocks:

when placed diagonally, this create a flawless, angled face. which can extend infinitely up, down, left, or right(diagonally, that is) without ever having a break in the surface. heres a slightly bigger application:

so, as you can see, lots of potential. hope you Devs see this, i think this would improve the appearance of ships vastly. Thanks for reading! :D

While I was build my ships, I noticed a few corners that need filling, but the available corner blocks cannot fill them.

I\'m sure that something like this was on schema\'s to-do list already, but I applaud this thread still.

YES, this would be nice, but being able to put the angles and ANY angle would be nice.

This is amazing, and the 3d images as well... Wow. I\'ve only played starmade once (doesn\'t work on my computer(yet)) and I noticed many of the limitations you mentioned... The only block shape I would add now is a wedge that is \"bent\" ever so slightly upward
