New "Atmosphere Bubble"?

    Should we change the texture of planets from a distance to match the dodecahedrons up close?
    at the moment you see oreos surrounded by a sphere, what if it was just a bigger dodecahedron around it?
    I think it would look more fluent IMO.

    No. What we DO need is a sphere rendering overhaul... Right now they still render the "coins" from afar in the dev build, and the actual sphere is anywhere from slightly to completely transparent, depending on where you are. There also need to be clouds visible from the surface.

    Take the top-y block of each side, render an image and bump it in the centre to make it look spherical.

    If you look into a glass of water with a coin on it's bottom, the coin appears to be at a higher altitude than it actually is. I think it is ok to have round planets, especially since they likely have big hills in the centre to make them appear more spherical anyway.
