Hey everybody, just joined the forum to show you all this ship I've been working on. It is a replica of a Daedalus class explorer from Star Trek. The hull is a perfect copy, but the internals are very different from any cutaways i could find due to space constraints. This is the first replica I have ever made, so there might be some flaws.

let me know what you all think!

    EDIT

here is a link to a gallery with more screenshots

please look at the pictures before complaining about yet another ship from stargate.

The ship looks great from the pics. Is it to scale or did you size it down for practicality?

for some reason it\'s not counting the @ symbol as part of the link. if you just copy and paste the whole thing it should work. the ship is to scale according to the cutaway that i used. but there are other cutaways all with wildly different specs. i used the smallest one.

the daedalus class is a starship class that has made numerous cameos throughout the star trek series. before enterprise mucked up the timeline, the daedalus class was considered the most advanced ship of the pre classic era. the design originated as a rejected design of the uss enterprise.

Ya it isn\'t the same. Well done dude, glad to see people haven\'t forgotten about this design with that Enterprise nonsense and the reboot.

I\'ve seen 5 different star trek Daedalus\'s and over 10 different star gate Daedalus\'s.

    I think ive seen enough.
