Bug My textures are changing by the second. Please Help

I just installed Starmade for the first time today and after getting my memory sorted out so the game would play, now once in-game (singleplayer) my textures are changing around. I don't know what to do I've looked at different posts and tried what they've done but it hasn't worked for me. Oh and I use the default texture pack, but it does it on all texture packs, and texture resolutions.
I've tried:
-Deleting the the texture resolutions
-Reinstalling
-Changing the Texture Resolutions
Overall I'm having a terrible experience but i just wanna try the game out. I threw some random ship parts on a ship to show you what my situation is. Please help.

Steam install ?

search for the data/textures folder and delete it.
then use depending on Launcher version the option to redownload them... that should fix the problem.

Oh I apologize I do have steam download, and I tried it and it worked thank you so much.

for some reason i dont understand the steam install likes to mess up the textures.
havnt seen that happening to my non steam install.
