moving ship core

so anyway is there any way to move a ship core yet and/or rotate it i know there was smedit but that dosent work however i heard a few people were trying to update it did anybody ever actual do it?
is there a replacement yet? is there anyone even working on it still?

The answer is nope. Doesn't look like there will ever be.. We will be getting chairs. That will be like a remote core.

This is a planned feature of the shipyards. However, it doesn't have a high priority at this time. Development focus is on other systems rather then fleshing out existing systems. You never know tho, schemas likes to ninja update things.
