I suggest adding more optional dialogue responses alongside the general "ok" and "goodbye." Just for fun.
When the npc guide tell you to enter a ship core, instead of saying "ok," maybe you could ask him. "Aren't I too big to fit in there?" And he would explain that it's actually a very possible (though snug) fit, and that you're not as big as you think. Maybe he could even demonstrate by sitting down next to a block before telling you to just get in the damn core already.
The player could also ask "Why are you all carrying guns?" The npc could explain either that it's for pirates, or hooligan players.
