It's technically 4 suggestions but I decided to make them all in one thread since they pretty much all go in the same category.

    Gas Giants
Gas giants would be anywhere in between 5 and 10 times larger than an average sized planet. Going deep into one would directly damage all your ship at once while ignoring your shields. Gas giants could be destroyed to, although all kinds of weapons except beams and very fast missiles would get incinerated in the atmosphere. Since the gas giant has no plates, all the gas would get expelled into space, and get to a point where going through it would not damage you. In addition, all it's moons would fly out in all different directions, not stopping until they either get destroyed by stars or they are caught in orbit around another body.

    Moons
Planetoids, planets and gas giants would be able to have moons. Gas giants would be able to have a LOT of moons, most being very small. A gas giant would usually have between 3 and 8 and moons. Planets would typically never have more than 3. Planetoids could have up to 5. Moons can either be very large asteroids or small rocky bodies with no atmosphere. Around gas giants, they are commonly large asteroids, but other kinds of bodies almost always would have rocky celestial bodies that have no atmosphere. The large asteroid type moons would not be terraformable.

    Planetoids
Planetoids are like moons, but are orbiting a star instead of a planet. Systems can start out with several planetoids in distance orbit around the star, or they can be created when a planet or gas giant's moons get caught in orbit around a star but no planet.

    Terraforming
Planets, moons and planetoids would be able to undergo terraforming, but to terraform a planet would be a lot of work. You would need to construct a terraforming device at a factory, which could not be storebought. It would cost 50 of every type of capsule, 10,000 mesh, 10,000 crystal circuit, and 10,000 power reactors in an advanced factory. Terraforming would also take a lot of time, depending on the type of planet and the size of it. An average sized terran planet would take 24 real hours to terraform. a desert planet would take 20% longer. A snowy planet would take 30% longer. A marslike planet would take 50% longer. A moon would take 60% longer. An alien planet would take 110% longer.

Yeah was definitely thinking about moons. All of these would be great.

I would also like to see something like binary systems, and actual orbits.

I would LOVE to see planets with rings as well.

They'd at least be a good place to put Turrets.
