The idea is simple, have a block that can be controlled with movement, and placed just like a normal core, however, its cheaper but... it requires a Ship Core to be able to use hotkeys and A.I.
This block should be called module block, and its blocks a "Module", the Module has to be name-able
To make things easier there should be also a Module docking-port, which can be hotkey'd and used just like a Docking Module, but it snaps the Module itself
However upon docking to the main ship with it, should it insert a new hotkey of the module's weapon group.
In the weapon tab, modules should be sorted in groups or in another tab to prevent confusion.
100% Shield and Recharge rates will be distributed, so as thurst, and energy. However should the shields be lost, the recharging will target a higher priority module or the core itself, the game might also tell what module is damaged
This should make it easier to repair ships and to customize them with other kinds of weapons and set-ups.
EDIT: Seems this was suggested before... Didn't notice
