Modding Support?

Can you add some kind of modding support? an API maybe? source code release for certain people? I consider myself an excellent Java programmer and I could think up a few good mods for this game

I\'m pretty sure Schema has said he won\'t be releasing an API for a while, not until the game is a bit more stable and not updating so regularly - as every update would break the mods (I present Minecraft as a perfect example of this).
