    Greetings, my fellow shipbuilders. I am Snako_Takagorro, Superme Admiral of the MKA Fleet. I am here with the diplomatic task of showcasing our fleet militarry vessels.

    This is MKA official ship thread, which will be updated with more and more ships. Right now MKA army consists of over 20 different class vessels - from drones, mechs and fighters to heavy battleships and titans. I will gradually upload them as the time pass.

    The MKA ship design doctrine is "fast assault". All ships in the MKA line have more than 1.1 - 2.0 Thrust-Mass rate - even the battleships have no less than 1.1 ratio. The usual color scheme for the ships is the black and white, and all ships have some kind of wings in their design.

    The first 3 ships that I want to show are 3 medium-class ships - Corvette, Frigate and Light Cruiser.

    First one is the trusted veteran of the MKA fleet:

    MKA 60 Hellfire



    This ship's design may be a little crude compaired to many other MKA ships - and no wonder. This is the first mass produced Maur Empire ship (one of the two founder nations of the MKA) - the one that started it all. While it's weapons may be outdated (only 5k dps - for the ship of it's class it is too low), but it's main strength is now firepower. Hellfire is fast. How fast? Literally, fighter-level fast. It has around 5 - 1 thrust-mass ratio and it is the one of the fastest MKA ships - toppled only by actual fighters.

    Because the design is old it is rarely used for active combat duty. But is can perform a multitude of tasks - patroling, supply, cargo ship, dropship, anti-fighter, escort, fast interception - making Hellfire the most versatile ship in the MKA fleet. And there are rumors that after MKA SEB (Science-Engeneering Bureau) finishes the development of the new weapons, the Hellfire might be back to action with more powerfull weapons.

    Mass: 1225.8
    L\H\W: 70\22\33
    Power: 99883 with 166365 regen
    Thrust: 6171
    Shields: 136055

    Next one is the Corvette class:
    MKA 40 Thunderbolt



    While this Corvete is the weakest Corvette class defense-wise, it's speed compensates for the lack of shields more than enough. The main roles for this agile and speedy vessel on the MKA fleet are: light escort, anti-fighter, interceptor, recon. It is equipped with 4 "Thunder" class amc machine guns (5k dps) and 2 "Razor" class turrets for those pesky fighters. It is suited the best for the anti-fighter role because it's mobility and speed can rival fighters.

    Power: 36948 with 55210 regen
    Thrust: 1814
    Shields: 30549

    The last one is the Light Cruiser:

    MKA 120 Aegis​





    While not being as fast as previous two ships, it's firepower is many,many times stronger. This ship's main feature is "Havoc" multi-barreled volley fire system. This mighty weapon consists of 150 amc arrays, 46 d1000 missiles and 38 BB missiles, and can really wreck some havoc at close range. It's damage output is 30000 dps from amc only and it's a shotgun array, meaning that it can quickly open the opponent's hull like a tin can. The drawback is that it is short-ranged, but Aegis has decent enough speed to come up close and personal and deliver massive damage, ripping corvetes and frigates apart in mere seconds. It's main roles are: heavy escort, fire support, long-range fire support (with missiles), planetary and station defense.

    These are very nice, very few people can make small ships look good, but well done.

    Thanks! I still have a lot to learn about making ships. While I somehow polish my skills in exterior, I'm still inexperienced in terms of interior design. But hey, everything comes with practice.

    And MKA 120 is actually one of my favourite designs in the line <3

    Also thanks! While for a long time I was hanging in the Mushroom Fleet community, I decided to enter the official forums too. Glad to meet you all, and ofc expect more ships! (right now i'm creating ships via Raibens ship-a-day challenge, so while it is active i'll be making at least 1 ship a day)

    And now it's time for fighters!

    MKA presents you LF Series - a set of three fighters with different roles and purposes. They are fighters with similar size, power and measurements, all able to fit into 21\7\15 L\H\W docking area. Also, being small in size, they are able to participate in ground assault as an air support or objective destroyers.

    MKA LF 10 Rapier



    This is a main dogfighting fighter in the series. It strikes the balance between speed, maneverability, defence and offence and is good all-around fighter. Being a dogfighter specialist it is equipped with the most amc arrays and has the most dps. It is also equipped with "LStriker" class guided BB missile launcher.

    Power: 3864 regen
    Thrust: 155.9
    Shields: 9593
    Main AMC arrays: 2186 dps


    MKA LF 20 Gale:



    This is a speedy interceptor. It is one of the fastest ship in the MKA fleet - as fast or even faster than Hellfire, but more maneverable. But this speed has it's drawbacks, resulted in the reduced shieldings. They are equipped with more long-ranged AMC arrays than other LF serie fighters. Their main purpose is intercepting light fast targets - enemy bombers, torpedoes and other targets. They use their speed and agility to evade enemy fire and retaliate with quick burst of gunfire.

    Shields: 7439
    Main AMC arrays: 1983 dps

    MKA LF 30 Hornet:



    This is a bomber of the series. It's purpose is taking out stationary or slow moving priority targets - either in space ot on the ground. To do that they are armed with 4 "Sting" class dumb fire missiles and amc arrays. Ther usual tactics is hit-and-run - go close, survive the turret fire, unload the missiles, fire several rounds of amc and retreat untill missiles are reloaded. While they are the slowest of the series, their shields are considerably better than other fighters.

    Regen: 4716
    Thrust: 154.6
    Shields: 12773
    Main amc arrays: 1961 dps.

    That's all for now on the LF series. After new weapons come out I fear small fighters will be broken - new system doesn't favor shotgun arrays of small 3 block canons. But we'll see. Maybe, additional fighters will be introduced to LF series (for examle, one specialized on lasers e.t.c.).

    Next will be cruiser class semi-carrier, designed to carry the LF fighters. Maybe, i'll post it tomorrow, or day after it.

    while the fighters aren't bad, the MKA is by far the best looking ship :) could you try to build a bigger ship?

    I actually have 2 big ships in my fleet - one 365-meter battleship and 500 meter carrier. I'll post them eventually;)

    Maybe I'll post a carrier today.

    It was a long time. Really. I kinda negleted Starmade for a long time. But now I'm back with more ships.

    Today it's a special entry to me. It a refit of MKA main battleship.







    Wellcome MKA 80 Dominator R4 (Revision 4). I've made this ship a long time ago. It was actually my third ship I've made in starmade and I've started playing Starmade first just to build it. It has a sertain history with me as both MKA faction and Dominator (and Hellfire as well) come from one origin - my space empire in Spore. And Dominator was the ship that started my galactic conquest and it was never shot down. So, certainly, my goal with it was to make a powerfull ship.

    Stats:

    Mass: 86735.5 (858833 blocks+docked)
    Power: 64 437 487 with 5 787 275 regen
    Thrust: 86722
    Shields: 10 005 002 with 107563 regen.

    According to MKA classification Dominator is a battleship - main heavy fleet action assault ship, specialised in taking down other battleships. It's main idea - go in the range of it's guns and blow **** up. It's the only thing that's expected from it and it certainly can do that.

    MKA 80 Dominator R4 roles in MKA fleet:

    -Fleet action
    -Superheavy assault
    -Orbital bombardment
    -Heavy patrol
    -Planetary defense

    For that purposes it is armed with:

    1) 6 Variable power "Terminus" GigaBlasters (6 shots, 3 second recharge, 639840 damage per volley, 2132800 DPS
    2) 8 "Molten" plasma rockets (rapid fire missiles, 8 shots, 3 seconds recharge, 50220 damage per rockets, 401760 per volley, 133920 DPS)
    3) 1 Anti-Matter Bomb launcher (dumb-fire missile, single shot, 15 sec recharge, 1 343 325 damage per shot).

    It is it's standart armaments and they are specialised for taking down high size and mass ships (comparable to Dominator or even more). This setup can deal 2 384 925 damage in a single volley (ofc if all weapons hit). And because it's regen is very good it's power won't run dry even when moving and firing it's weapons.

    Also depending on situation it can do 2 other weapons setup on fly:

    1) It can connect "Molten" missiles as master with Anti-matter bomb to create a powerfull "Dragon Flare" swarm missiles arrays. It is to used only when there are no allies nearby because it can obliterate any nearby ship with even ~500k shields with just 1\3 of the swarm and using it with allies nearby means you will have less allies after the shot. When field testing it destroyed by accident a 650k shields Aegis with half of it's missiles. After that it wiped a swarm of 20 fighters in 2-3 shots. Thus it is only suitable to use when surrounded and outnumbered. But this counters Dominator's weakness to being swarmed.

    2) It can connect missiles to Solar Wings to deploy them in Active Mode, activating Energy Bombardment Weapon. It is a shotgun spread arrays that fires more that 2000 energy blasts total. While it is not suitable for space battle (shots are relativelly weak and won't damage ships well), it is perfect at ground assault because it can damage and destroy troops and light vehicles on a large area and cause significant damage to structures. It literally unleashes a rain of dectruction upon firing. The onlt draw back is that it uses a tremendous amount of energy (half of the ship's energy storage in one shot) and thus it's firing rate is actually slower than 3 sec.

    Special note on a Solar Wings - it's a special system developed by MKA scientists for Dominator. It's a set of 4 wings with super efficient solar panels on both sides. They absorb solar energy and solar winds to power-up Dominator's weapons and systems - shields, power regen and forepower. In passive mode it just empowers the ship. And when they are deployed in active mode Energy Bombardment becomes usable.

    As for turrets there is not much - this ship doesn't have big enough flat surfaces to house big turrets. So there are some medium and a bunch of small. This ship has 4 "Net" turrets with rapidfire stop beams, 10 small lock-on missile turrets and 4 "Bulldog" TurboBlaster turrets (rapdfire amc+8 lock-on missiles arrays each).




    As far as interior goes Dominator has 7 decks (from 0 to 6) and it's full list of rooms is:

    Deck 0 - Mech Bay, can house 2 MKA MW series mechs
    Deck 1 - Core room, Main Reactor, Briefing room, Living quarters, Maintenance and server shaft
    Deck 2 - Light Wings control unit, Storage room
    Deck 3 - Bridge
    Deck 4 - Med Bay, Dining room
    Deck 5 - Toilets (with shower rooms), Captain's quarters
    Deck 6 - Small craft and drone bay

    That's it for Dominator. I'll post many other ships as soon as I'll refit them. Right now I'm refitting MKA 120 Aegis - and it's gonna be strong even after the weapons update :p
