Read by Council Mirror copy/paste option

occasionally i find myself and others probably do too, forgetting to turn yz mirror on. an option to flip the orientation of copy/paste would be great so we can remidy forgetting to do this easilly.

if you use the scroll wheel you can. also use shift or ctrl to orient the paste thingy in different ways

The only thing we can't do with the scroll wheel is mirror the selection, hence the OP.

Well yes, but you don't need to mirror it if you don't forget to use symmetry...... Can't you just press undo, place the symmetry mode and re-paste?

I've run into instances where mirroring would've been useful. However, simply pasting with symmetry mode on and copying the flipped piece works pretty well.
