Pretty self explanatory. Give us the ability to put a half or quarter slab (either or, we probably don't need both) in the middle of a voxel grid. This would allow us to create more symmetrical rooms in smaller areas, give us greater control over our aesthetics and generally be a quality of life addition for building in general.

Obviously this isn't an important addition, but my guess is it would be rather simple to implement.

It would simply require more block IDs. (~10 material types x ~10 color variants = 100 block IDs x however many variations you want)

So now the question becomes, what is your favored mid-block slab width and location variations?
E.g. in order of usefulness, maybe:
    1. 1/2 slab at exactly the midpoint, leaving 0.25 meters of empty space on either side of the slab.
    2. 1/4 slab at 25%, leaving 0.25 meters on one side and 0.5 meters of empty space on the other side of the slab.
    3. 1/4 slab at exactly the midpoint, leaving 0.375 meters of empty space on either side of the slab.
    4. Wedge versions?

And do you want to convert any system/support blocks to mid-block slabs? (E.g. Faction, permission, logic, not to mention new types like solar cells, etc...)

They can probably achieve it with block meta just like they did with the current slabs. No more ids.

I thought slabs use orientation bits. A block with 2 faces need 5 bits, a slab only 3. Or something like that…

If you go further with this, you could also suggest sub-blocks sharing the ID of the major. Would save IDs for slabs.
But then we have to ask us a question: Are slabs just a required replacement for 1/4-player-size-blocks?
