Block that holds a single line of text. If it gets a logic input, it'll display it's line of text in a manner similar to the 'Warpgate Ready' message.

I don't see why not. By displaying it like a Warp Gate you mean it pops up in green out in space, even if the block itself isn't visible?

To verify, do you mean that the text will appear on any nearby player's HUD as a message either once when they enter the range of the block or as long as they are in range? (E.g. "Welcome to Tosche Station. We hope you will enjoy our fine selection of Power Converters.")

I think the "warpgate ready" message is kind of a temporary thing that's supposed to be replaced with an icon or something later. Maybe something like a holographic billboard would do what you're wanting to do, or did you have something completely different in mind?
