Memory Settings

I have a 64 bit System and Java 64 bit but when I try to give starmade more than 1024 MB Maximal memory the game crashes.

Has anyone an idea how to solve this problem?

I\'m having the same issue. Anything more than 1024 maximal gives me:

\"Java Virtual Machine Launcher

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.\"

I\'ve reinstalled java and starmade twice with no luck.

It might be because you are using 32 bit java. You gotta change a few things to make it work. I forget what but it is something in the path... You need it to use java 64 bit instead.

Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on?

If you load terminal (Mac/Linux) or Command (Windows), you can type \"java -version\" to see which version of java you\'re running as default from your path statment. If you see 32-Bit on any of the output lines, you\'ll need to google, \"How do I uninstall Java\" and reinstall the 64-Bit version after a clean reboot.
