    The only thing that would really be accurate to how it actually worked would be a pulse but those things are incredibly useless.

    Try, perhaps, Cannon/Pulse/EMP It won't "look" right, but it will replicate most of the function.
    Those being decent range, terrible re-fire rate, and knocking out power to the things it hits.

    For the rest of the "look", could try a waffleboard of Cannon/pulse/ion, and use logic shenanigans to make it fire whenever the "big" gun does.
    (thus, you get a "wall" of bullets, which mostly replicate the look of the "plasma disk" seen in show.)

    You could try what Lord_Greyscale said but with missiles. Would'nt look quite right but at least it'd have a visible consistency.

    the closest that i could say would work is to just build ships that look like the blast and rig up some damage pulses set on a logic clock. set the logic clock to start when the ship is launched.

    When you "fire" the weapon it will really just be a ship launched with shootout rails that immediately starts firing off damage pulses. You could set the ship's auto-dampeners to off in order to make it fly off endlessly. And maybe you can even make more than one of the weapon ships and put them in a fleet so that you can fire out multiple shots then carrier recall them back to reload.

    I waffle pattern aring out of beams and cannons with a logic slave pulse in the middle didnt get the range but it looked sweet played hell with the timing but got it all done and guess what ...... i for got to save the blueprint of the fineshed ship and there was a server wipe so redoing this ship is not going ro happen anytime soon
