Major performance drop with v0.199.234

Im having major major performance drop with v0.199.234, from 120 fps in space with v0.199.214 to 1 fps with v0.199.234. I have the latest driver updates so thats not the problem, and i have tried to go back to .214 and that still works fine, so its something with the update that messes up the performance for me.
Anyone have any suggestions about how to fix this?

Disable anisotropic block textures in the settings. It brought my fps from 20-30 to 70-90.

I had the same issue. Turing off 'use framebuffer' got me out of 1 the FPS.

I got it working, after some work. Had to remove alot of things to make it work again, like shadows, engines and the things you proposed.
wierd thing is, i have either 1 fps or 120fps, theres no middle ground, and any one of these settings reduce it all the way down.
i miss the stars, but at least it works
