Major Intel Graphic Problem

So I'm running windows 7 on a laptop and have an Intel HD graphics 4000. When i went to play the first time it crashed, so i went to download the new driver. it said i needed to update java first so i did, then I downloaded the new driver, installed it, and it still crashes. I don't know what else to do and I'm getting extremely upset. Any advice or help at all would be great. Thanks in advanced.

I have a intel core i5 pro and windows 7. starmade works fine on my computer

Nevermind, I figured it out! When i went to update java i used the automatic installer, which apparently defaults to downloading the 32 bit version, and i have a 64 bit system, so i i downloaded the 64 and it works!
