I host a dedicated server for me and some of my friends, and after a few weeks we have all continuously ran into this huge block renderring lag.
What happens is that while placing say a straight X-Axis string of blocks in quick succession, after about the fourth block none of the other blocks render for at least 5 seconds, leaving us to hope we're clicking in the right spot for the rest of the line, or wait excessively long periods of time for the blocks to start renderring.
I would assume due to the fact that I usually get a consistent 300-400 fps that this is not a computing issue as much as it is a programming limitation, or something to do with the amount of stuff we have crammed into the same sector, but I have no idea and it really starts to get on one's nerves when you're trying to build a 40000 block death star and the blocks take forever to render.
Please reply if you have any insight into this issue,
thanks!
