I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice, I have quite an old laptop (4.5 years) but it's quite hardy and I had no problem installing and playing the game...up until a point. In space I'm fine, I've managed to get my FPS up to between 20-50, but planets cripple this, reducing the game to 1-5 FPS.
I managed to get the FPS up to 20 ish by reducing the draw distance to 3....but I keep banging into things lol can't see asterioids until I'm right on top of them, and I lose planets because they disappear as soon as I enter their atmosphere and only appear when I get close enough to the ground, and I often don't know where that is.
Any advice people can give on settings to tweak to improve performance would be greatly appreciated. Not bothered about it looking pretty so long as I have a decent framerate
