Logs inside Pirate stations

So while testing out a new ship I stumbled upon a pirate station. after dispatchin the turrets went for da booty only to discover something interesting: I found logs inside each PlexContainer, talking about some sort of Meeting with a group of Aliens, some sort of conflict, and some strange anomaly eating power generators. It this new? Any one else find these?

They have been ingame for a while, and are quite similar to some of the captain\'s logs at the start of Star Trek episodes...

Sounds oddly similar to the possibilities for the new creatures update. :0 that\'s what it is! I\'ve heard rumors of generator eating aliens, and the news post said something about civilized aliens.

They ARE the captain\'s logs from star trek. I\'m not at my laptop but I had bookmarked the episodes they were from.

there for a while? Huh, I\'ve NEVER come across them before, and never heard anyone mention them. I also noticed that the station had black hull instead of red.
