I noticed while building a mining drone, You cannot connect the salvage computer to a light like you can with the weapon systems. It would be cool to be able to do so IMO. Currently I cannot create green salvage beams.

Did exact same thing last night. Was also building mining drones. Was also thinking of using green.

I believe this is with all beam weapons, not sure though.
Do agree that coloured beams would be fun

You can in fact color damage beams. I even had an idea for a disco/party ship with colored beams and lights everywhere.

I was actually just talking to lancake about this. It isn't planned as far as we know, and we do not consider it a priority. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to do if we wanted to do it however. Consider this suggestion archived in case we forget.
