I have been having problems with the StarMade launcher. Everything works correctly except when I try to start a game. I see the launcher console, but when it gets to %100 it just crashes. What do I do?

I have downloaded the launcher both normal and alt, run them and i always get some checksumerror and a really unhelpful decription with no insight into fixing the issue, manually downloading the latet version appeared to do nothing as weel, i was unable to start the game for reasons i cannot see, can someone please do a step by step as to how they installed this game or better yet overcame / got around the errors?
