Little more than a simple observation... but does anyone else thing that almost all of the larger ships look like shotguns with rockets at the back?

That\'s not a shotgun with rockets. Just, Freud was right.
However, there are sound gameplay reasons to build a giant flying metal ...cigar. Power and engines both work best if laid out in long 1x1xn colums, and a bundle of little sticks makes one big stick. This shape also gives you a large number of blocks between prow and core for improved survivability. Cubes are also good, but for some reason very few people build cubes.

If you\'ve seen TheSol\'s WIP, it looks nothing like one either.
Could you at least show some examples? because I haven\'t seen any that look like a shotgun tbh.

my projects are all but shotgun
