A little idea is a jet pack that can be bought from the store and can be used to move in space faster or get off the surface of a planet if you are stuck.

I think it\'s probably assumed that your character has some form of jet pack/EVA suit to move in space at all; if they didn\'t, you\'d just be floating around unable to move yourself. That said, I do quite like the idea of being able to \"upgrade\" your suit to make it faster. It could also be a nice idea to be able to add utilities onto it. A short range repair laser, for example, or a small salvage beam.
Why a salvage beam. It wouldn\'t be more powerful than a single-block salvage beam, you\'d harvest faster with right click.
And while you\'re at it, why not have a one-block AMC value instead? Side arms. Problem solved.
However having a portable beam utility does make a lot of sense too. You can\'t have any of these two more powerful than a single block though, that wouldn\'t make much sense.
