My BSG Viper mk III attempt

not sure how to fix the back....

Always like some BSG stuff
You can actually make it slightly cone shaped at the front (width increasing as it approaches the back), which gives you more space for systems (the viper is not all that thin after all).

In starmade you can get away with having thrusters "permanently on", so a layer of some light emitters (white or yellow maybe?) over the visible thruster blocks in the back could do the trick The thrusters are deep enough to still let you have the "depth" feeling even with 1 more layer.
