Issues with chat. (website)

Recently i keep getting this message: "Public chat room is currently offline". It pops up for about 15 seconds then disappears. Another thing is that the chat sidebar is slow to update the list of online players. Furthermore there has been a bit of chat lag recently. I know some other people have been experiencing the same issue so I think it might be a server side issue with chat. I checked my internet speed to make sure it wasn't that, and everything seemed normal:

DL: 17.95 Mbps

UL: 1.17 Mbps

this is probably due to the renovation of the forum site, it was meantion in one of the change logs for one of the updates (cant remember which one)
