This Thread is where everyone can post ships that are similar to the standard Isanth. I have gathered a starting lineup of ships. I went out to find these for the sole purpose of helping servers and single player players spice up their pirates ship selection. I edited a few to make them smoother and better looking. Eventually I will make a corvette for this but until then feel free to add your own but please don't just post a bunch of smoothed out Isanth-VIs



From Left to Right we have...


Bident by 22SAS which is now classified as Isanth Gunship

Scarab by 22SAS which is now classified as Isanth Interceptor

Isanth-Interceptor IX by Gaeason which is now classified as Isanth Heavy Fighter

Isanth VIII by Comr4de which is now classified as Isanth Medium Fighter

Isanth VI by Nexu which is now classified as Isanth Fighter

Isanth-Shuttle IX by Gaeason which is now classified as Isanth Shuttle

I thought isanth was the name of the ship. If isanth is just the name of the ship type (corporation that makes them?) then yes. We need a variety of pirates in the game.

The current isanth is also painfully outdated.

I've always had an Isanth-VII on my server, I had smoothed out the hull and adjusted the engines and shields but it was still the same ship just a little better looking and slightly tougher.

And perhaps one just a bit larger, one set to spawn only in the deeper parts of the galaxy way past 10,10,10 for the older/larger players so they can't simply own the pirates like they normally do.

I already have a smoothed out Isanth as the Isanth Fighter This is a nice smoothing but I will not add it to the official pack

That Isanth Fighter is heavier, slower, has less firepower, and not as well smoothed out (okay that last part is subjective) as my Isanth-VII

The Isanth-VII had all it's internals ripped our and was completely rebuilt and is not simply a smoothed out version of the original.

We don't want the Standard Isanth to be too powerful

My Isanth-VII isn't too powerful at all. It's only had the slightest adjustment to the weapons and was given a proper power layout so there was more room for shields. Even with more shields they still melt like butter at the mere sight of a point defence turret and the standard Isanth-VI shields are so bad it might as well not even have any.

Not really, although I have adopted the color scheme for my civilian line so you could call all my civilian ships Isanth Style

Simply take the folders out of the ZIP and put them in your blueprints folder

You've managed to actually make some alright ships that are based on the Isanth. Well done!

I think these should be default, but they should find a way to decrease the spawn rate more and more for the bigger ships.
