one gun does 80 beam damage per tic

one deck holding crew coreders and stuff

if photos are needed please say so

P.S the turrets can not push out any more damage because of there dezine

Size of the ship? Total block count? Mass?

For some, that damage could be standard for a shuttle. For others it's a cruiser. You really have to be more specific... Ship classifications are really subjective. Also, give the damage in dps (damage per second), not damage per pulse, dps is what people usually use as a metric. Just multiply the amount of weapon blocks (including secondary and tertiary effects) by 10 to get dps.

Ex: I have a "corvette" that does 70k damage per second. That might be a super-capital ship by your standards. While a super-capital ship does tens of millions of dps by my standards.

The trick with beams is that each tick needs to be strong enough to break a block of advanced armor. You're not going to be able to get that at the size of your turret. I would suggest changing your weapon type from what I assume is rapid beams to either cannon/pulse/punch or beam/beam/punch.

This might be OK for an isanth, but not much more. I'd probably make it wider and do cannon/cannon/explosive, or one of Lecic's combos.

Try to use your imagination with turrets. There is a lot of firepower to capitalize on if you do your homework. You can do high single shot damage with a low rate of fire, a high rate of fire with constant DPS or special purpose weapons like EMP, anti-shield or stop effect tractor beams.

The turret on this gunship does over 5000 anti-shield damage per burst.

If you have the power grid for it, missile turrets add some nice alpha-type firepower to your ship. The 'quad-vulcan' turret on the back puts the hurt on smaller fighters; especially when you mount them in large numbers.

    Fighters or turrets? You decide.
