Is there someplace that explains the new 1.58 mechanics?

I see that changes to thrusters and the like have been made, but no explanation of how they're supposed to be used now. Is there a link somewhere that I'm missing? If not, would someone who knows the information please post it? Thanks.

The thrusters are just "Throw them in" as far as I can tell, but I dont think there is anywheres that tells you what these changes do and how they help you :/ I suspect Mushroom Fleet made have/might make a video about these though.
