Is there a weapon range limit?

Is there some sort of maximum range that anything can be hit with a weapon? I swear it's impossible to hit anything further than 300 range.

If you go into your weapons computer through the weapons menu you can see the range of your guns. Apart from that limit, you cant shoot across sector boundries.

I\'ve set my weapons range to 2000 and yet can\'t hit asteroids or pirates that are in plain sight.

Schema added the \"seamless borders\" just recently and that involves a lot of physics-blackmagic.

Result is that shoots currently cant travel over sector borders! But as far as I know its on his to-do list, ofc.

I have seen people talking about super turrets killing people from several sectors away, so my guess is that this has been changed
