Is there a way to mass select blocks of the same type?

I assume that you mean linking? Then yes, shift + v (or whatever you select button is). If that's not it then I just don't understand your question.

If you mean "select all blocks of type 'X'" then no, that feature doesn't exist. Neither does the "Replace all blocks of type 'X' with type 'Y'".

If you want to mass-link, say, all AMC's to a weapon computer, then yes, Shift + V when targeting the AMCs will select all AMCs that are in one logical block (one group of blocks that touch each other).

If you want to mass-delete all blocks of a specific type, then that feature was just added in the advanced build mode.
