Is there a way to limit FPS because...

I'm getting this error rendering over 1300+ FPS:

Not exactly sure how to handle that? Do I limit my FPS? Can I? Never messed with the timer in windows as I've never had an issue rendering way too many frames.

You can enable "Show Advanced Settings" in the launcher's Settings menu and use the "Vertical Synch" or "Limit FPS" options.
Alternatively, use the "Vert-Synch" or "Fix Framerate" items in the in-game options dialog.
