Is there a passable block?

Hello, I'm building a Starport (Coriolis from Elite) and i want to build a airlock like the blue forcefield in E:D.
I tried it with watter but my ship cant pass through. is there any block a ship cann pass through?

area triggers, but they are invisible outside of buildmode.
so my advice is to use blue forcefields and open them like you would a normal door when you want to move a ship through it.

you can open a door by either right clicking or left clicking the door/forcefield with the core block selected in the ship hotbar.

also with some logic and rails you can have doors open automatically, see alterintel as im sure he has something on the subject

i think this does not work =(
i want a player fly through the field without operning or beeing on a rail...

Then use aera triggers to open/close your forcefield door, just walk and then stuff open and close as you walk. The only downside to that is when the server lag it can be painful to try again and again waiting to get the thing working. Also there is a small thing with the camera if you don't play in 1st person.

setup a grid of light rods... they are intangible, and you can fly right through them.

You could use some plants but it's probably gonna look weird.
