Insane FPS

So i have just downloaded the game and when i started it my fsp went up to 700 and there was a fast, REALLY loud clicking noise. Had to alt f4 in fear of my PC melting. So i would like to know what the hell happend? any help would be great.

You can limit fps in the options menu to prevent stuff like this :P

Im pretty sure it wont effect your pc, the fps varies depending on your graphics card, and more, your processeror with Java. So, if you\'re getting that sort of fps, thats fine, you pc s fine, i get about 200-400, its fine.

My fps were over 1700 so i was scared that my graphic card would smelt so i limited my fps odly enough my comp did not make any sound. 60 fps with out drops is prettyy good
