I keep changing my mind on what to call this fleet, but its on a creative mode I named Industrial, so I'll stick to that.

The initial large build that I've based all the others on, style wise:

The pods on the front half the ship are each a mining drone, so its carrying 20 drones along with a large salvage array inside the front half as well. Still working on most of the interior, but at least the exterior is done.

Its basically where I looked at the big mining drone carrier and scaled it down into a smaller, simpler form to make it look like a progression. Still need to build a turret to put on it's back.

Ignore the light box dock its sitting on.
Larger than a bare minimum sized fighter, standard armor, big guns. A moderate sized fighter.

Nice, though I'm wondering, why is there a fighter if this is supposed to be an industrial fleet?

Gotta have something guarding the miners and the cargo carriers if you aren't making hybrid miner/cargo/battleships.

To borrow a term from Star Trek, they're "Escort Class" ships.

But I do intend to add some full on warships to the line. Industrial is more about the look, as in "These aren't trying to be slick and fancy, they are supposed to look more like hulls built around legit systems".

Alright, keep up the good work!

That would be the whole "industrial look", Thadius. They're not supposed to be colorful.

    Yeah, if he wants colors.

Ultimately, it's an aesthetic thing, and aesthetics are a matter of opinion.

Nice work, Edymnion. I love ships that look like they're all part of the same fleet.

Ehh mixing some black or hazard would help I think.
I tried hazard blocks, actually. They stood out too much (which is the entire purpose of them, I know). I may still add some blue and white striping though, but I rather like the "Look kid, painting them pretty colors doesn't make them do their jobs any better" angle.
