Importing Custom asteroid

    I am attempting to use SMEdit to create and import a large asteroid. I can create and save the blueprint file, but how would I get the thing to actually spawn in game?
    I would like to use it just like a regular floating rock asteroid.

    If you import it in SMedit it will be given a ship core automatically. If you want to make it a non-ship, you'll have to replace the core with something else in SMedit, and rename it as an existing station or asteroid that has been loaded in the universe (if you wanted to go that route). What exactly are you trying to do with it? If you saved it as a blueprint you should see it in the catalog/admin tab in single-player.

    I just want to use it to create a giant asteroid that has enough room to fit a real base. I used MudBox to create a suitable rock and imported it, but got stuck there.
