Ever wanted to travel Large distances in half the time? Then here is your chance. A fully implamentable hyperdrive system. Firstly the hyperdrive shall be assembled like this: you have your hyperdrive block now 1000 Hyperdrive blocks take 10% off the time of your journey. the Maximum Hyperdrive blocks that you can have is 7500 that takes 75% off your travel time. However you need 5 power blocks to power 1 hyperdrive block this enables a "nerfed" and fair way for this to work. When you are in Hyperspace you cannot use Shield, AMC's or any type of weapon or beam that uses power. It also takes out chunk of your Thrust capacity.

How to use. Enter ship, press P, opens hyperdrive menu, shows all stats, Enter sector where you want to go press button. You are in HYPERSPACE!!!

The good thing is that you dont have to hold down w all the time, it is auto pilot so when you are in hyperspace you can ust open chrome and look at something else.

This system would be easily implemented into the game.

how about you include mass,so while a corvette would need 4 to do 40% a capital would need 4000 to do the same.afterall it would make medium ships more usefull asthey could have better warp drives
