I'm so lost

So I learn how to make ship. Pirates kill me when I was trying to fly to a planet. Now I lost all my ship building parts.. How do I make more money to buy more blocks? Can I go to planets and mine for blocks or no?

If you\'re on singleplayer you can give yourself both blocks and credits.

The command for credits is /give_credits player amount

The command for blocks is /giveid player blockid amount

What about online? How do I go about getting cash and blocks to make things?

There are a couple of easy, relatively risk-free ways to get money on your own. Asteroids tend to contain multiple L2-4 ores, and the occasional L5. Salvaging hull blocks from spawned stations can provide both building materials and things to sell.



If you\'re willing to cast your lot with other players, factions often help their fellow members out.
