I would love mining drones..

I Love the idea of mining drones. with block limits to the drones controlled my config.. Ideally they could be used to mine planets and asteroids help get the last few bits that can sometimes be a pain to mine.. Ideal control would basically be an invisible docking area controlled by a ship block and dock enhancers that would allow more mass in the docking area.. Deploying your drones would spawn them in your vicinity and would mine targeted asteroids on command.. This is something i have been hoping for a long time to come out.. I'm sorry if there is already a topic on this i just couldn't find something similar. I have lots of great ideas just waiting to come out.

You can use "fire at selected" to get turrets to turn towards asteroids, but this requires a constant logic clock keeping the salvagers on the turret running, so I wouldn't really recommend it, unless you like constant salvage beams spraying off your ship.
