I miss chain drives

I miss chain drives. It was a nice thing to be able to design a drive that could take you to the next galaxy away. :/

ah, the time when you literally needed to DESIGN your drive instead of simply slapping some chambers to a reactor... Miss them too. Plus, chaindrive countermeasures were too a feat of engineering, not block-slapping...
