I just saw the oddest thing...

I was chopping a rock up for materials when I caught something out of the corner of my eye. It was a trader ship drifting nearby. The HUD showed all kinds of blue arrows, and when I turned to look, there were a dozen undamaged traders tumbling and drifting across the screen. No pirates or combat, just a fleet of traders being blown along like leaves in the wind.

What's up with that?

They do that sometimes it\'s kinda random

Some servers (assuming you are playing on multiplayer) have space drag on ships set to lower values. This has a weird effect on AI as they don\'t seem to compensate for it very well yet, so they slide around like they\'re slipping on ice.

I\'m playing solo since I\'m still learning and don\'t care for PVP. It\'s the first thing that\'s been odd enough that I thought I\'d comment on it...

I went back to that sector, and they were all still there, no longer tumbling, just dead in space. So with some careful targeting, I overheated their cores with minimal damage, switched to the salvage cannons, and melted them all. Now I\'ve got to figure out what a dozen AI ships worth of components is worth, and how much to see and how much to keep. :D
