    Hello,

To make a turret, i do like this :

    - enter my main ship core into build mode
    - place a turret rail
    - advanced build menu, place docking
    - place a dockrail and a core on the previously placed turret rail
    - exit the ship, then enter the newly placed core
    - advanced build menu, place docking
    - exit the core
    - enter the last core and start to build turret from it.

When i try to save my turret to copy and paste it on another support on my main ship, i can't place it. It says only one core can be used. When i try to manually dock the turret i can't, because i don't have rail docker, only rail turret.

I think i'm doing something over-difficult for nothing.

    Help please ?

So you have 3 turret cores? You only need the x-y axis turret base and the z axis barrel to make a working turret. The rail docker unit is accessed from the weapons tab and dropped down into your hot bar if it's not already there. You aim it at the turret docking rail (The red one on your ship)

Sorry Bud, but if I understand what you're asking for, it's just not possible yet.
Copy and paste only works on the same entity. This makes it virtually impossible to use for turrets

Easiest way to place large amount of turrets is to make one and save it as a blueprint. Then admin load it. then once it's loaded fly it to your turret hard point and dock it.

I'm pretty sure an easier method is in the works, so just hold on a bit longer. I promise the game will get allot more playable in the future :)

It sounds to me like you are saving your turret to a template.
You need to save it as a blueprint, like you would a ship or station.

Previously i was building a "ship with a dock", then attached it to a turret rail on my MainShip. On a Let'sPlay video i saw the "build a docking system" option, so now i do what i described before.

I have 2 cores. The "third core" is from my main ship, to place the first turret rail only.

I save Template with Copy/Paste, yes.
So i should save as blueprint...

    I will try, thanks.

What do you mean "for someone playing since 2014,I was amazed by this thread" ? By the way, your videos and pictures are a huge help and inspirationel material for me. /praise SkylordLuke

Just make the turret, then put it in a shipyard. Make as amny as you need!
