I cannot turn in my ship

Sorry for the spam but this is pretty important my thrust to mass ratio is 1.1 and i have seen youtubers do that before so I just wanted to ask if this is a new update or a bug. I simply cannot turn my ship. Thanks for your help anyone who helps me.

You're probably looking through a camera that doesn't face forwards. That would disable steering.
