I have been getting issues too around large ships. For me I get laggy performance and display driver failures, as well as other random game behaviour. I just assumed that is was because my computer parts are several years old, but perhaps the fault lies with the game itself.

But on topic. I am sorry, I have no idea what is wrong, mabey try puting the priority of it on maximum?

You can do that by going into Task Manager and going into the prioriy tab. Then find starmade (make shure you have starmade running) and right click it and go into the priority part.
