So I have been playing Starmade for a while and while there are bugs galore and other such things. But when in servers, pvp or nonpvp, they can set a speed limit for the ships and sometimes they set it too slow or too high. If they could add a hyperdrive to the game which will set you on a course to a certain sector and get you there in seconds instead of holding down W and waiting for minutes.

What it could be like, is an expensive block. Maybe, 1 million credits? Its not supposed to be an easy item to aqquire. Then the actual hyperdrive itself could be a 3x3x3 block or maybe just a single block. Maybe it has to be set up next to a power source. There could also be an option to exit hyperspace or it could be fixed and you cannot leave hyperspace until you have reached the destination. Cooldown could be a minute more or less. Instead of going 50 KPH or 150 KPH, it could go 500 KPH. All it has to do is show long beams of light around the ship and a few seconds later you arrive at the destination. If you have plexbeacons or something of the sort, those would make long lines that trail behind the ship when entering hyperspace. Like star wars or other space related movies.

On to navigation. Why not set the waypoint at the sector itself so instead of giant ships flopping and turning everywhere could just fly straight toward the sector itself? Also, maybe you could add a sort of "compass" that shows the XYZ dimensions when flying in a ship to make it easier to navigate. To know if your up or down, slanted or some other direction. You could use the compass to navigate which sector to go to. Ex: You in sector 2, 2, 2. You want to go to 2, 2, 3. Without the compass, it will take a long time to learn exactly where to go. With a compass that shows X Y Z dimensions, it would make it easier by going up, left, down, etc... The compass should look like the same grids as the advanced building grids. Except all combined and in a corner that swivels around a point. That point being the ship core or middle of the ship.

especialy if you could put the ships in to some sort of auto pilolet locked on to your destination and then you could using artificial gravity walk around in the ship

i would say like a 20 to 30 second charge up. just in case ur in pvp action u just dont want the asshole to just escape on u in a blink of an eye. that would piss people off. unless if it was activated it would tell u where he lands so u could easy pursue the runaway. u know waht im saying

Maybe the radarjammer could also be programmed to jam against hyperjumping. More jammers increases range at which the signal is jammed. Each jammer could jam up to 25 meters.
