How To reduce lag

I have discoved were most of the lag is coming from. aparently some were in the settings.cfg file theres an opton that you can disable to reduce lag.

1.to reduce lag open the settings.cfg file with a text editor

2. look for this: G_CULLING_ACTIVE = true

3 Change it to : G_CULLING_ACTIVE = false

4. Save

5. Run the game

6.let the sever load

7. watch the ping and fps and wait for a minute for it to become stable the game should run much more stable even at high ping

What culling is supposed to do to make the computer only do the work needed to show you the things you are looking at. Which is great, but when you are constantly changing where you look, it can slow things down.

Thanks for giving information.It\'s very useful tips for me.When i had a lag problem ,i followed your tips.After that i checked my ping rate whether it\'s low or high using Whoisxy.com I was really amazed about my results.

Another tip is filling in all open unuseful space to lessen the pollygon count
