How do you get the sniper and RPG?

A while back our kid Schema posted a news bulletin stating he put in two new weapons (hand held): the RPG and sniper. The sniper had a knock thru effect...you get the idea.

Anyway, I could really use that RPG right now, so how do I get it? What factory do I craft it in? What console command do I put in? What section of the shop are the handheld weapons in?

If I can't craft or buy them I'd hereby like to add it to kupu 's neverending (literally) to-do list. Someone tell Santa to give the dev team lots of presents this year, they've been very good boys and deserve it.

you know the advanced shop shopkeeper - just talk to him and there is something about buying weapons

There are two kinds of shop, the standard ones, and the others that have some kind of glass in the middle. This is where you will find this NPC. Usually they is 100% of chance of a shop like that spawning on 2 2 2; otherwise, you will need to explore for a bit.

The NPC trader guy seems to have changed script in the last version and the ones on our server no longer sold weapons and tools. He was back to offering non-existent missions.

To fix this, I copied the script from an older install when it did work, and renamed the file and put it in the scripts folder, then use the /creature command to load the script to the NPC trader at spawn.
