How do you downloads ships to the game

I have been wondering lately, how do you download ships to Starmade?

There is a section on the forums where ship files can be downloaded. If the player extracted them with the ship catalog manager they will be a .sment file. It's basically a zipped up file of the blueprint. You can extract it with winrar or 7zip if you need to. You can use the catalog manager as well. This tool can be found on the big option menu before you start the game at the top under the tools tab. Import the file and it will appear in the catalog
