How do i make a server?

Ik the Start dedicated server button but how do i make it public for use?

ok port forward then go on google and type\"whats my ip\" the numbers that come up you give to your friends and thats how they connect.you need to use the 4242 port

If you make a server, and want to start over. How do you replace the current server (no backup method required, but it would be nice)

look at your keyboard hit the windows key and the r key then type %appdata% and look for the satr made folder not the .starmade the actually star made folder find the server data folder and delete it. start the server back up and BOOM done
